The Icon Mix Suite

Pyramind's flagship control room, this HD studio was custom designed by Matt Donner and Cameron Sharp. With a dedicated stereo and 5.1 playback system (the flagship LSR6300 series from JBL), custom designed attached recording booth (excellent for small ensemble or voice recording), 1080p 50” full HD plasma monitor, Pro Tools HD rig (loaded, of course), multitude of analog pre-amps (Universal Audio, Millennia, Avalon and more!) and Digidesign ICON Control surface, this is as good as it gets. It is wired to Pyralab 1 which doubles as a recording room so this room is perfectly suited for live band recordings, large ensembles, video shoots and audio/ video post production.

The Vault

Both an advanced level classroom and lab for Pro Tools Certification instruction and a fully-functional professional studio, the Vault is a highly sought-after mix and mastering room. Loaded with a Pro Tools HD rig and Control 24 work surface and more plug-ins than necessary, this room gets booked by students and clients - a lot. Wired for both stereo and 5.1 playback with Genelec monitors, this room simply sounds great. There’s no better way to learn or produce than in a high-end environment and this is certainly one of the highest in DAW rooms.

The Loft

Home to Pyramind's Director of Production and the legendary sflogicninja, the loft is built for speed, creativity and comfort. The aroma of freshly brewed Pete's coffee greets you as David Earl's comforting grin reassures you that your project is in the best of all possible hands. The Loft is ergonomically laid out for state of the art digital composing and comes complete with stereo and 5.1 monitoring in a "live end/dead end" acoustic design. This studio was designed to be the ultimate in Game and Film composing as well as hosting creative client meetings and presentations.

The Roost

The Roost is home to Paul Lipson and is his sanctuary for composing and audio development work for Pyramind's top clients. It’s also loaded with a Pro Tools HD system, Genelec monitors and an extensive sample library designed to be compatible with the Loft. It’s an inspiring and comfortable room and simply put - sounds great.
