Pyramind's students and staff have been involved in some very meaningful projects, but Steffen Franz and his group Poetz4Peace's involvement with the 7th Annual Daniel Pearl World Music Days Festival is certainly among the most emotional.

“Harmony for Humanity” is the name of the Daniel Pearl Foundation, a charitable group founded in the memory of the late Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl. It is also the name of a new track recorded by Poetz4Peace to benefit the foundation. Utilizing the best of Pyramind’s student & staff talent, a group of talented international musicians, and the amazing technology of the Internet, the track “Harmony for Humanity” came together over six days in late October and early November.
