On October 4th 2008, Pyramind, in association with The Recording Academy, had the privilege of hosting a VIP event for the 2008 Audio Engineering Society show held at the Moscone Center in downtown San Francisco. The Recording Academy's Producers and Engineers Wing, lead by Executive Director Maureen Droney, brought together an amazing group of industry veterans and luminaries for a mixer presented by SPARS (The Society of Professional Audio Recording Services), APRS ( The Association of Professional Recording Services) and NARAS (The National Academy Of Recording Arts And Sciences).

During the evening the Executive Director of APRS, David Filleul, presented The APRS Sound Fellowship award to industry veteran recording engineer and artist Alan Parsons. On hand to introduce him was Leslie Anne Jones, Director of Scoring and Music Recording at Skywalker Sound. Pyramind graduate. DJ CMoore, mixed up the chill beats for the crowd as the Recording Academy photographer snapped up plenty of great photo opportunities!
