Acclaimed developers 5th Cell – makers of the award-winning worldwide smash hits “Scribblenauts” and “Super Scribblenauts” – have tapped the Pyramind Studios production team for their upcoming first-person shooter “Hybrid.”

“Hybrid” marks a major departure for 5th Cell, and Pyramind Studios’ dynamic team of Paul Lipson, Peter Steinbach, and Steve Heithecker will be contributing extensive sound design, dialogue recording, post, and mix for this highly-anticipated game.

Pyramind Studios also contributed to the teaser trailer (below). Peter Steinbach created the sound design and Steve Heithecker recorded voiceover and performed editing & sync for the clip, which was picked up by major gaming outlets Wired, IGN, GamePro, GiantBomb, G4, Joystiq, and others.

“Hybrid” is scheduled for release in 2011. Stay tuned.
