Studios A & B

Pyramind’s Studios A & B have been re-designed for a broad range of post services and are among the most advanced sound services facilities in the SF Bay Area. Our new facilities have been specifically designed to service the demanding audio needs of AAA video games, film, TV and commercial producers. Major Game developers, publishers and leading independent production companies rely on Pyramind’s facilities and talent for a wide variety of creative and sound post-production work.

Studio 832

Studio 832 is equipped with a dedicated stereo and 5.1 playback system (the LSR6300 series from JBL), custom designed attached recording booth (excellent for small ensemble, instrument or voice recording), 1080p 50” HD plasma monitor, Pro Tools HD (loaded with Plug-Ins of course), multitude of analog pre-amps (Universal Audio, Millennia, Avalon and more!) and Digidesign ICON Control surface. With tie lines to the thousand square foot Pyralab 1, Studio 832 is perfectly suited for live band recordings, large ensembles (as many as 35 piece string and brass ensembles have been recorded here), video shoots and audio/ video post production. This HD studio was custom designed by Pyramind CAO Matt Donner and expert studio builder Cameron Sharp.

The Vault

The Vault is a dedicated music production & sound design studio. The room is built around the SSL (Solid State Logic) Nucleus control surface and JBL LSR 4326P 2.1 sound system. It comes loaded with Pro Tools, Logic Pro, Reason & Ableton Live DAW software and a full compliment of music making and sound design plug-ins. Aditional hardware includes vintage analog and digital synthesizers. The vault is an ideal creative space complimented by its’ own iso booth for vocal and instrument over-dubs.
