The Digital Sound Producer (DSPc) is the most complete curriculum offered by Pyramind Training, providing advanced training in all aspects of sound. Students interested in the DSP should be prepared for an intense and rewarding educational experience that will prepare them for some of the most demanding jobs in the industry.

DSP graduates have gone on to hold creative positions at companies including Sony PlayStation, DoubleFine Studios, Polarity Post, Loudville.tv, and InGrooves and have worked on properties such as “Star Wars: The Old Republic”, “Watchmen”, “God of War 3″, “Dante’s Inferno,” “Brutal Legend,” and “Infamous,” in addition to developing their own successful personal projects.

The DSP builds on the subjects offered in the Core and extends them to professional levels with additional classes in Music Theory, Production, Synthesis, and Game Sound. The DSP also includes four more subjects – Music Mixing & Mastering, 5.1 Surround-Sound Mixing, Video Production, and Remixing – that further expand the student’s skills.

At this advanced level, many classes are project-based, giving DSP students a heavy creative workload. This ensures that the full arsenal of students abilities are tested and refined; everything from technical and musical skills to software “chops” and business acumen.

The DSP also includes 4 additional highly sought-after industry certifications in addition to the 4 found in the Core:

• Pro Tools Expert Certification in Music
• Pro Tools Operator Post
• Apple Final Cut Pro
• WAVES Gold

DSP Subprograms

The DSP-Music (DSPm)

Designed for those who  wish to focus specifically on producing music at the professional level.  The DSPm comes with Pro Tools Expert Certification, as well as the  advanced classes covering remixing, music mixing, and advanced music  composition.

Certifications Offered (7 Total):
Pro Tools Expert:  Music, Pro Tools Operator: Music, Apple Logic Studio Level 1, Apple  Logic Studio Level 2, WAVES A, WAVES Gold, Ableton Live.

The DSP-Interactive (DSPi)

Designed is for  those focused solely on audio post production and game audio. With  global revenue for the games industry exceeding that of the film  industry, there’s no denying the opportunities available in the gaming  and interactive media production fields. Other than the DSPc, the DSPi  is the only program that offers advanced training in game sound.

Certifications Offered (7 Total):
Pro Tools Operator:  Post, Apple Final Cut Pro Level 1, Waves Gold, WAVES A, Apple Logic  Studio Level 1, Apple Logic Studio Level 2, Ableton Live.
