Greg is the Creative Director of Pyramind Studios and the founder and CEO of the company. During his twenty plus years as a music industry professional Greg has built a long list of credits and developed a diverse set of skills as an audio director, mix engineer, music supervisor, music producer, and voice director and talent. He has worked directly with numerous game developers and publishers, major recording artists and high-profile technology brands including Microsoft Studios, Ubisoft, Sega Studios, Zynga, Insomniac Games, Disney Interactive, Samsung, AMD and HP to name a few. Greg's credits include award winning AAA to Casual Gaming titles including: Sunset Overdrive (Insomniac Games), Halo Anniversary – Combat Evolved (343 Industries), Kinect Disneyland Adventures (Microsoft Game Studios), World Of Warcraft: Warlords Of Draenor (Blizzard Entertainment), Ice Age: Collision Course and Looney Tunes Dash (Zynga/Eat Sleep Play) and VR titles now currently under development.
Sunset Overdrive - Behind the Music
Greg is a ten+ year member of the Game Audio Network Guild, a 20+ year voting member of The Recording Academy (The Grammys) and a former Trustee and Governor for the San Francisco Chapter. Over the past ten years Greg and his team have developed Pyramind from start up to a self sustaining enterprise that occupies two buildings in the heart of SOMA SF. The production facilities include multiple composition and sound design suites and four recording studios designed for music and post production: including an 11.2 Meyer Cinema Surround mix stage.
Greg graduated with honors from SFSU with an interdisciplinary major in music, business, and audio & video production. In 2007 he was awarded the “Established Entrepreneur of the Year” by the Renaissance School of Entrepreneurship where he received certificates of recognition and merit from State Assemblyman Mark Leno, San Francisco City Treasurer Jose Cisneros and California State Senator Carole Migden. In 2016 Greg was awarded a scholarship to attend Babson College by the Goldman Sachs 10,000 small businesses growth accelerator and CEO leadership training program.
